Settings Overview
Configure your Spedy workspace -- organization, teams, workflows, billing, and more.
Settings let you customize how your Spedy workspace works -- from your organization's details to workflows, billing, and who has access to what. You can reach the settings area from the sidebar by clicking Settings near the bottom of the navigation.
What you can configure
Spedy's settings are organized into several sections, each covering a different aspect of your workspace.
Organization
View your organization's name, ID, and your current role. Configure default teams for new boards and manage explainability settings. Learn more
Teams
Teams are groups of members that you can assign to boards together, instead of adding people one by one. Create teams that reflect your actual team structure -- engineering, design, support -- and give them board access in a single step. Learn more
Members
Invite new people to your organization, remove members who have left, and manage permission group assignments. Learn more
Permission Groups
Create and manage permission groups with granular permissions. Permission groups come in two types -- INTERNAL (for staff) and CUSTOMER (for external users) -- and control exactly what members can see and do. Learn more
Roles & Permissions
Understand how Spedy's role system works at both the organization level and the board level, and how Permission Groups add a layer of granular control on top. Learn more
Statuses & Workflow
Customize the workflow statuses that your tickets move through. Add, rename, reorder, or remove statuses to match how your team actually works. Each status belongs to a category (Planning, Blocked, Active, or Final) that determines its behavior. Learn more
Ticket Types
Configure and customize ticket types (Feature, Bug, Epic, and any custom types) at the organization level. Create new types with custom names, colors, and descriptions. Learn more
Labels
Create and manage labels that your team uses to tag and filter tickets. Labels are defined at the organization level and can be applied to tickets on any board. Learn more
Custom Fields
Define custom fields for your tickets to capture additional structured data beyond the built-in fields. Requires the canManageCustomFields permission. Navigate to Settings > Custom Fields.
Features
Toggle organization-level feature flags to enable or disable capabilities such as EXPLAINABLE_STATUS, AI_KNOWLEDGE_BASE, RUNNERS, MILESTONES_RELEASES, BACKLOG, and AI_CONTEXT_LINK. Navigate to Settings > Features.
Integrations
Connect external tools to your Spedy workspace. Available integrations include Jira import, YouTrack import, GitHub, and MOCO. Requires the canViewIntegrations permission. Navigate to Settings > Integrations.
Webhooks
Configure webhooks to send real-time event notifications to external URLs. Requires the canViewWebhooks permission and a Pro plan. Navigate to Settings > Webhooks.
Runners
Manage automation runners that execute tasks on your behalf. Requires the canManageRunners permission and the RUNNERS feature flag to be enabled. Navigate to Settings > Runners.
Skills
Manage agent skills that extend what AI agents can do in your workspace. Requires the canViewSkills permission. Navigate to Settings > Skills.
MCP Servers
Configure Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers for AI tool integrations. Requires the canViewMcpServers permission. Navigate to Settings > MCP Servers.
Time Tracking
Enable or disable time tracking for your workspace and configure how it works -- including timer behavior, time rounding, and booking items. Learn more
Billing & Subscription
Manage your Spedy subscription plan, update payment information, and view invoices. Learn more
Audit Log
View a comprehensive log of all activity across your organization. Requires the canViewAllActivity permission. Navigate to the Audit Log from the settings sidebar.
Your Profile
Update your display name, manage your language settings, configure AI preferences, and set notification preferences. Account sub-pages cover email changes, password changes, API tokens, OAuth apps, authorized apps, and MCP configuration. Learn more
Who can access settings?
Not all settings are visible to everyone:
- Organization settings (members, teams, billing, statuses, ticket types, labels) are only available to Admins.
- Permission-gated settings (permission groups, integrations, webhooks, runners, skills, MCP servers, custom fields, audit log) are visible based on your permission group assignments.
- Board settings (like adding members to a specific board) are available to users with the Board Admin role on that board.
- Profile settings are available to all users.
- Feature toggles (like time tracking and feature flags) are Admin-only.
- Some settings (members, teams, permission groups, webhooks) require a Pro plan.
