Create Your Account
Sign up for Spedy and set up your organization workspace
To start using Spedy, you need an account and an organization. Your organization is the shared workspace where your team will collaborate, and it comes with its own subdomain like your-company.spedy.ai.
Head to the Spedy registration page and fill in the following details:
- Name -- Your full name as it will appear to your teammates.
- Email -- The email address you will use to log in. This must be unique across Spedy.
- Password -- Choose a strong password to secure your account.
Once you submit the form, your account is created and you are ready to set up your workspace.
Create Your Organization
After signing up, you will be asked to create your first organization. Every organization in Spedy needs:
- Organization Name -- The display name for your workspace, such as "Acme Inc." or "Design Team".
- Slug -- A short, URL-friendly identifier that becomes your subdomain. For example, if you choose
acme, your workspace will be available atacme.spedy.ai.
Choose your slug carefully -- it is part of the URL your entire team will use every day.
Your Workspace Subdomain
Once your organization is created, you will be redirected to your new workspace at your custom subdomain. This is the URL you and your team will use to access Spedy:
https://your-org.spedy.aiAll of your boards, tickets, wiki pages, and settings live under this subdomain. Bookmark it for quick access.
Returning users can log in at the Spedy login page by entering their email and password. After logging in, you will be taken directly to your organization's workspace.
If you belong to multiple organizations, you can switch between them at any time using the organization switcher in the sidebar. This lets you move between different workspaces without logging out.
Multiple Organizations
Spedy supports belonging to more than one organization. This is useful if you work with different teams or clients. You can:
- Create additional organizations from the organization switcher to set up new workspaces.
- Switch between organizations with a single click -- no need to log out and back in.
- Be invited to existing organizations by other users who are already set up.
Each organization is completely separate, with its own boards, members, settings, and subdomain.
Next Steps
Now that your account and organization are ready, it is time to create your first project board.
