Workload

Visualize team workload distribution and time tracking data across your boards.

The workload view helps you understand how work is distributed across your team. See at a glance who is working on what, who has active timers running, and how time is being spent across team members.

Accessing the workload view

Click Workload in the sidebar. The view shows all team members across your boards with their current ticket assignments and time tracking data.

Period selector

Use the period selector to control the time window for the data shown:

  • Today -- shows activity and time logged for the current day
  • This Week -- the current week
  • This Month -- the current month
  • Custom -- set a custom date range with start and end dates

The period selection affects the time logged (period minutes) shown for each team member.

Summary cards

At the top of the workload view, summary cards provide an overview of key metrics for the selected period, giving you a quick snapshot of team activity.

What the workload view shows

Per-member overview

For each team member, you can see:

  • Number of tickets currently assigned
  • Tickets broken down by status (in progress, todo, blocked)
  • Time logged during the selected period
  • Active timer indicators -- a pulsing green dot shows when a team member has a timer currently running, along with details about which ticket they are actively working on

Identifying bottlenecks

The workload view makes it easy to spot:

  • Overloaded members -- people with too many tickets in progress
  • Blocked work -- team members with a high proportion of blocked tickets
  • Uneven distribution -- teams where work is concentrated on a few people

Interacting with tickets

Click on any ticket in the workload view to open the ticket side panel. The side panel shows full ticket details and lets you make changes (reassign, update status, etc.) without leaving the workload view.

Filter sidebar and quick filter presets

Use the filter sidebar to narrow down the workload view by board, team, status, or other criteria. Quick filter presets provide one-click access to common filter combinations so you can switch views quickly.

Requirements

The workload view is available to all team members. Time tracking data requires time tracking to be enabled.
