Workload

Visualize team capacity and workload distribution across your boards.

The workload view helps you understand how work is distributed across your team. See at a glance who is overloaded, who has capacity, and how tickets are spread across team members.

Accessing the workload view

Click Workload in the sidebar. The view shows all team members across your boards with their current ticket assignments.

What the workload view shows

Per-member overview

For each team member, you can see:

  • Number of tickets currently assigned
  • Tickets broken down by status (in progress, todo, blocked)
  • Estimated hours vs. available capacity (if time tracking is enabled)

Identifying bottlenecks

The workload view makes it easy to spot:

  • Overloaded members -- people with too many tickets in progress
  • Blocked work -- team members with a high proportion of blocked tickets
  • Uneven distribution -- teams where work is concentrated on a few people

Using workload data

Use the workload view during sprint planning, standup meetings, or anytime you need to rebalance work across your team. You can click on any team member to see their full list of assigned tickets and make reassignments directly.

Requirements

The workload view is available to all team members. Time-based capacity data requires time tracking to be enabled.
